Surprising fact: France is McDonald's most profitable market in all Europe.
Unsurprising fact: All of the ingredients used by French McDonald's are from France, except the cheese (apparently Velveeta is not terroir).

Meanwhile, never a people to miss an opportunity for resistance, the French appear to be scarfing burgers with one hand and waving placards with the other.
